We decided it was a day to count our blessings and do something nice for someone else.  We spent time discussing the families that lost people 15 years ago and reflected on the courage of the first responders who run into disasters, when everyone else is running out. Mr. Magpie suggested we make a special delivery to the cute little fire house on our block.   This was a VERY small way to show someone them we are grateful for their sacrifice.  When we arrived we were greeted by a very touched firefighter who promised to share the cookies with the rest of engine 8.
