Maggie’s Menu:  As you can see I have a thing for watermelon (see here, here, and here).  I am creating a little basket of watermelon themed things for the hostess of my Labor Day Trip next weekend and decided to upgrade a few dollar store paper straws to make them watermelon-esk, too.

Materials:

• Paper straws (Note: I got mine in the dollar section at Target.)
• Color printer
• White computer paper
• MAGPIE watermelon printable
• Scissors
• Double sided tape

Instructions:

1. Print MAGPIE printable on white computer paper.
2. Cut out watermelon shapes.
3. Place permanent (not removable) double-sided tap on the back sides of the watermelons.
4. Wrap the paper watermelon around a straw.
