Message from Maggie: I decided to go with plastic champagne glasses for this weekend’s bridal shower since I don’t have enough crystal for all of my guests. I customized them to go with her gold theme making them a bit fancier.
What you need:
- Plastic champagne glasses with twist off bottoms
- Gold spray paint
Instructions:
- Place twist off bottoms upside down on newspaper.
- Using spray paint cover the bottoms with paint.
- Allow paint to dry and then screw onto top of champagne glass.
Cost:
I had gold spray paint on hand so this project cost about $8. If you need to purchase spray paint you can achieve this for $12.
- Champagne glasses: $8 for 20 glasses
- Gold spray paint: $4
Instructions with photographs:
- Place twist off bottoms upside down on newspaper.
- Using spray paint cover the bottoms with paint.
- Allow paint to dry and then screw onto top of champagne glass.
