- bridal shower, chalk, chalker, Make, Menu, mirror, signs, welcome signs
Message from Maggie: Originally bought at the thrift, we used these mirrors at our wedding for decoration. During our shed reorg this weekend I found them and thought they’d be perfect for the bridal shower I am hosting this weekend.
What you need:
- Mirror
- Spray paint (optional)
- Chalk ink
- Stencils (optional)
Instructions:
- Determine what you want the mirror to say. (Note: Here I did a menu to highlight what we’d be serving including drinks, apps, main, sides, and dessert. I also indicated which items were gluten free and vegetarian for our guests. I created a second mirror to use as a welcome sign that said “Old, new, borrowed, blue. Jamie is ready to say I do! Then added the date and said Welcome to the Shower.”)
- Using stencils and your own handwriting begin writing, tracing, and drawing.
- If you make mistakes just windex them away.
Cost:
Since I had the mirrors, which were already sprayed plus chalk ink and stencils, this project cost me nothing!
- Mirrors: You can get cheapies from the thrift for around $10 depending on size
- Chalk ink: $4 a marker
