Maggie’s Menu: Tuxedo Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Message from Maggie: As another take on this recipe, I created these black tie inspired chocolate covered strawberries.
Ingredients:
- 1 pint of strawberries
- Parchment paper
- 1 cup of white chocolate chips
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Wash strawberries and dry thoroughly.
- Melt white chocolate chips in microwavable dish in 30 second increments stirring in between until melted.
- Dip strawberries in white chocolate and place on parchment paper.
- Once white chocolate sets on strawberries melt semi sweet chocolate in microwaveable dish in 30 second increments stirring in between until melted.
- Dip each side of the white chocolate strawberry into semi sweet at an angle.
- Place on parchment paper to dry.
- Place rest of semi sweet into a ziplock bag or squeeze bottle.
- Pipe semisweet onto chocolate covered strawberries to look like buttons.
