Maggie’s Menu: Grilled Green Shrimp
Message from Maggie: I created this marinade from herbs in my garden. It was a a delicious summer inspired taste.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 t. red pepper flake (more if you like it spicy!)
- 5 sprigs parsley, minced
- 1/8 t. pepper
- 1 shallott, minced
- 1 T. lemon
- 1 T. lime
- 2 T. white wine
- 6 basil leaves, minced
- 2 T. olive oil
- Salt (to taste)
- 3/4 pound of shrimp
Instructions:
- Place ingredients in a small blender and blend until a consistency between a paste and a liquid forms.
- Spray skewers with olive oil.
- Skewer shrimp.
- Brush marinade onto shrimp and allow to sit for 30 mins.
- On a medium heat grill, grill shrimp skewers for a about 3 minutes on each side.
