Maggie’s Menu: Green Smoothie
Message from Maggie:
There are lots of great green smoothie recipes out there, but here is a quick one I am loving right now.
Ingredients:
- 1 medium banana, peeled and quartered
- 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries
- 1 Tablespoon flaxseed meal
- 1 Tablespoon natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 cup fresh kale
Instructions:
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy, adding more almond milk or frozen berries to thin or thicken.
