Maggie’s Menu: Chocolate Covered Jack-o-Lantern Strawberries + Boo-berries
Message from Maggie:
Ingredients:
- 1 pint of strawberries
- Parchment paper
- 1 cup of white chocolate chips
- Yellow and red food coloring
- 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Wash strawberries and dry thoroughly.
- Melt white chocolate in microwavable dish in 30 second increments stirring in between until melted.
- Dip half of the strawberries in white chocolate and place on parchment paper.
- Add red and yellow food coloring to the white chocolate and stir until an orange color is created.
- Dip the second half of the strawberries in orange colored white chocolate and place on parchment paper.
- Once chocolate sets on strawberries melt dark chocolate in microwaveable dish in 30 second increments stirring in between until melted.
- Put dark chocolate in a zip lock bag and cut a tiny corner of the zip lock bag.
- Pipe dark chocolate onto strawberries creating ghost faces on the white ones and jack-o-lantern faces on the orange strawberries.
