Message from Maggie:  Planning to cook for a big party can be daunting.  Together with my co-host we created the following menu for a friend’s bridal shower.

Apps

• Caprese Bites on skewers (cherry tomato, mozzarella balls, basil leaf, skewers)
• Veggies in hummus shot glasses (carrot, red pepper, hummus, plastic shot glasses)
• Melon wrapped prosciutto (melon, prosciutto, toothpick)

Salad

• Red leaf lettuce salad with balsamic and olive oil (lettuce, balsamic, olive oil)

Main

• Chicken Salad Croissants (chicken salad, croissants)
• Pesto Veggie Sandwiches (gluten free bread, homemade roasted red pepper, basil, mozzarella, pesto spread)

Side

• Quinoa salad (quinoa, red and yellow tomato, mozzarella, basil)
• Fruit kabobs (strawberry, pineapple, grape, blackberry, orange slice, skewer)

Dessert

• Cake Balls
• Alphabet Cookies
• Tuxedo chocolate covered strawberries
