Message from Maggie:

There are lots of great green smoothie recipes out there, but here is a quick one I am loving right now.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium banana, peeled and quartered
  • 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries
  • 1 Tablespoon flaxseed meal
  • 1 Tablespoon natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 cup fresh kale

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy, adding more almond milk or frozen berries to thin or thicken.
